The Civil Registry Operations System (CROS), accessible at https://cros.rrd.gov.bs, is a secure online platform developed by the Registrar General’s Department of The Bahamas to modernize and streamline civil registry services. The system facilitates the electronic submission, filing, and retrieval of vital records, including birth, death, marriage, and adoption documents, as well as property-related filings.

Key features of the CROS platform include online submission of documents such as affidavits (Birth, Correction, and Identity), conveyances, and mortgages; the ability to request certified copies of official records; and convenient 24/7 access for authorized users. The platform is supported by robust security protocols, including QR code authentication, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of all transactions.
